Homebound Services...

A goal of the Merrick Library is to serve everyone in the community.  The reality is that on either a regular or temporary basis, not everyone can physically access the Library’s facilities.  For this reason Merrick Library offers its Homebound Services.  Biweekly, patrons will be provided home delivery of Library materials.  Patrons may request titles and/or have titles chosen for them.

           

An application is available at the Adult Reference Desk enabling patrons to specify what materials they do and don’t want from Homebound Services.  A “Certifying Authority” (doctor, caregiver, etc.) will be required to fill out the last page in order to be approved by the Library Director.
